We've found a fantastic new venue for our first Linedance Party in Spain.
The 4star Hotel Amaragua is just a couple of hours flying time from most major UK airports and only 15 minutes transfer time from Malaga airport.
Excellent accommodation, food and facilities and right on the beach, it’s the perfect place for our first Linedance Party on the Costa del Sol.
We expect to be able to announce dates and prices shortly so keep checking back.

Learn classic linedances in less than 2 mins!

Like swimming and driving, learning to linedance can seem daunting when you’re beginning.
Sunshine & Stars to the rescue with our unique FREE online dance lessons, hosted by Johnnie ‘legs’ Sutton. The first clip lasts around EIGHT minutes, showing and teaching you the basic linedance steps.
Learn them at your own pace and then progress to actual dances.
Three classic linedances are available right now with many more to follow.
Each video tutorial is less than TWO minutes, you’ll be amazed how quickly you’ll improve.

Looking ahead to 2012
Back in January I took a small group to Madeira, one of my favourite places.
I’d been planning to make a return visit for some time so it came as a shock when easyJet decided to cancel their Stansted flights this winter.
Nothing’s easy these days but after spending a few days there recently (see previous post to see me hard at work again!) I think I’ve come up with something rather tasty.
I’m having my birthday in on the island in February and hope to have a few Sunshine and stars friends come along to join in the fun.

Hard at work - again!

With the 10th Anniversary Madeira Linedance Party taking place in just a few weeks, somebody has to check that everything is perfect.
As you can see, Mike with the current Mrs Powell (got to keep her on her toes!!!) has volunteered for the job and is making sure that the drinks and nibbles are in perfect condition at a new ‘Mystery Venue’ we’re intending to feature during our stay in December.
Included in the holiday is a Free excusion with afternoon tea and dinner to the newly refurbished FourViews OASIS hotel for linedancing in their superb air-conditioned private dance room.
We’ve also arranged a unique island exploration tour including lunch for the many linedancers who are joining us for the first time.
The Sunshine & Stars Madeira 10th Anniversary Linedance Party is on 5 Dec 2011 with flights from all major UK airports and is all set to be a blast!
