The restaurant, bistro and many of the rooms overlook the beach and the Atlantic. Calheta is a small tranquil village with a few bars and restaurants and a quaint marina. A large air conditioned bar overlooks the pool and is perfect for our Linedancing and Cabaret. From the nearby marins there a ‘Dolphin and Whale watching’ cruise and close by is a ‘Poncha’ distillery, where we enjoyed some rather ‘wobbly’ linedancing in December 2009.
