Here’s where you can learn about MADEIRA and discover why we’ve been visiting the island since 2001.

We stay at the 4 star FourViews Monumental Lido (formerly hotel Monumental Lido)

CLICK ON THE PHOTO ABOVE for a tour of the hotel and a look around the immediate surrounding area, including the Madeira Forum shopping mall and some fabulous views along the promenade.

Then there’s a brief tour around the capital Funchal showing the parks,  some of the island’s famous flowers, the old town area and the harbour.

The whole clip lasts around 9 minutes. It may take a while to view on slower internet connections but it’s worth the wait.

When you’ve seen it, you’ll wish you were there.

In December each year we have our Linedance Party which takes full advantage of the spectacular illuminations covering the entire capital
