Since 2001 Sunshine & Stars Linedance Parties have also been held on the floating garden of MADEIRA each December
The weather is generally warm and sunny and the Christmas illuminations are amongst the most spectacular anywhere in the world.

In 1996 the first Sunshine & Stars Linedance weekend took place in Great Yarmouth.
It was aimed at beginners and intermediates who wanted to meet new friends at a similar level, without feeling intimidated by more advanced dancers.
DJ/instructors were hand picked for their talent, friendliness and ability to feature and teach dances guaranteed to keep the floor full of very happy people.
