Online NewsletterIt won't be long now until Gt. Yarmouth and Madeira... Our apologies for not updating the site for a while - Mike's been busy moving (please visit our Contact Us tab for his new permanent address) and Paul's had a few internet problems. Anyhow, we're looking forward to seeing everyone in Gt. Yarmouth and Madeira - thanks for the tremendous responses. Here's not only where we stand with forthcoming events but also some exciting information about what we're lining up for next year:
We have a super group over 60 strong lined up for Madeira (departing 29 & 30 November and 1 December). Mike's not long back from the island and he has set up a brilliant exclusive excursion (scheduled for Thursday 4 December). You'll see spectacular scenery, eat a superb lunch, taste the local 'firewater', Poncha and Linedance on top of the world in a Madeiran mountain chalet! You can check it out now. It's the only excursion you need on our December 2008 Linedance holiday. Next year's Madeira holiday is already in the advanced planning stages and will include the option of 'TWO ISLAND Linedancing.' A week in Madeira followed by 3 nights on PORTO SANTO in another 4 star hotel with our own exclusive Linedance Pavillion, right on the beautiful golden beach which is over 3 miles long. We hope to have details available before we leave Madeira this December. Also, there's our annual Winter Sunshine break to Benidorm in January, where we've been every year since 1988. Mike was there a couple of weeks ago and filmed the area and Hotel Rialto, our 3 star base in Benidorm. The short 2 minute video clip is on YouTube for anyone who'd like to have a look. Just click "Play" below: The first Linedance holiday in Benidorm is set for 1st April 2009 with Linedancing in our own private air-conditioned room with bar - and will also include an opportunity for bowlers to visit local British operated bowls clubs for some friendly matches during the day. Updated 11 October 2008 Madeira - Line Dance Holiday December 2008. UPDATE! We've had to wait until July, but easyJet have finally released their prices. We're now back on track with what we feel is an exceptional and exclusive package. Madeira is DEFINITELY going ahead - and we're looking forward to a bumper crowd again this year. Full details are now on our Reservations tab - and you can book your place there online!. Posted 15 July 2008 Small But Very Happy Benidorm Group - January 2008 When first Portland Direct, then Flybe each stopped flights from Norwich to Alicante, it looked as if our annual trip to Benidorm might have to end. Not a chance! We organised the whole thing ourselves - and everything went as smooth as clockwork... Transport from East Anglia to Luton, picking up at Lowestoft, Norwich and Royston and a comfortable Monarch Airways flight - both timed to the minute. Then our own private 52 seater coach (for just 19 !!!) took us directly to the Hotel Rialto. And with warm, sunny weather for just about the entire week... no wonder we had plenty of smiles for the group photo (below). |

We'll be back again next year and hope you'll be wanting to join us. Meanwhile look out for our Rock 'n' Roll Spectacular back in Benidorm in summer 2009. You'll be welcome! Details online soon. |

Madeira 07 - Another Great Line Dance Holiday Our fifth Sunshine & Stars Linedance holiday to Madeira is over and lots agreed it was the best yet. The sun shone, the sea sparkled, Madeira’s Christmas lights twinkled everywhere… and the Lindancing was electric! |

The find of the holiday was live entertainer DAVID WORRALL (pictured on the right). He flew out at very short notice midway through the holiday to replace Billy Curtis and had the floor jumping with his two highly professional performances. Extra thanks are due to ‘Bunny’ and husband Paul for their help in arranging his visit – we’ll be happy to have him back anytime. |
